On 11 March 2009, “The Fortune 500 Company” BHP Billiton came to ACEG for investigation and research of the construction market in Anhui and Hefei.

The Bureau of Commerce of Anhui Province and Hefei Foreign Trade and Economical Cooperation Bureau recommended ACEG as the only construction enterprise for this investigation. The delegation of BHP Billiton, accompanied by the relevant leaders of The Bureau of Commerce of Anhui Province and Hefei Foreign Trade and Economical Cooperation Bureau came to ACEG and ACEG Vice president Mr. Wang Yuanxi met the visiting delegation. Mr. Zhao Zuopin, the director of enterprise development plan department of ACEG, and Mr. Chen Chuanwen, deputy director of business department of ACEG attended the investigation meeting.

Mr. Wang gave a brief account of the general situation of ACEG and the impact of financial crisis caused to ACEG and the construction industry in Anhui and Hefei. He also answered the questions in which BHP Billiton had interest. Both sides exchanged opinions about cooperation and communication.
