The center has 11,870 sq. meters of building area with two floors of basement and four floors above the ground. It is one of the landmarks in Eq. Guinea. The President of Eq. Guinea plans to hold the International Meeting of Six African Countries in the Congress Centre in May of this year.

Since the year of 2009, it was very difficult to catch up with the completion date due to lack of personnel and goods. In order to ensure that the project is completed on time, Mr.Hu Yuncheng, the president of ACEG, paid much attention to the schedule and quality of the project. He held a subject meeting in Feb. to require that a leading group should be founded for the battle of completion. The project team planned scientifically, organized elaborately, constructed reasonably and worked day and night. At last, the team has won a wonderful battle by completing the project 10 days ahead of schedule.    

At the end of April, the President of Eq. Guinea and Speakers of other five countries successively visited the Congress Center and highly praised its progress and quality.
