Infrastructure Capacity Building Seminar for officials from some countries along the Belt and Road was held in Hefei on October 11 and concluded on October 29 and it turned out a great success. It was co-organized by ACEG and Anhui Institute of International Business under the guidance of the Bureau of Commerce of Anhui Province. The graduation ceremony was held on October 29 at Zheshangruiya Hotel, Hefei, and attended by Distinguished Officials from Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, and Bureau of Commerce of Anhui Province; Anhui Institute of International Business and ACEG as well as the 32 attendees from some 10 countries were also there. Mr. Xu Keshun, Member of CPC Committee and Deputy General Manager of ACEG attended the Graduation Ceremony and delivered a warm speech.
The theme of this Seminar is about infrastructure capacity building for countries along the Belt and Road. With its advantage at construction and engineering, ACEG compiled and translated all the lecture courses and provided the consecutive interpreting services for the Seminar. Experts and scholars including Mr. Wu Hongxing, ACEG’s Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of Information Department and Mr. Chen Gang, Director of Chief Engineer Office have given their lectures and led the attendees visit the construction industrialization base, expressway transformation and extension project, large-scale housing construction project sites. The attendees also visited ACEG headquarters and exchanged their views with some related department staff.
The successful organization of this seminar not only shows ACEG’s scale and strength at the whole chain of construction industry and advanced technology and management, but also reveals ACEG’s dedication to follow the national strategy and participate in the project construction for the countries along the Belt and Road. It has received high praises from all the attendees and the Bureau of Commerce of Anhui Province.
Right after the ceremony, Leaders of ACEG Overseas Company held a separate meeting with attendees from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Ghana and Kenya for view exchanges on some potential biz cooperation opportunities.
