In order to celebrate May Day just past, ACEG Pakistani Branch has organized and carried out job skill competition activities classified in major professions at the construction site of the Project Afghani Embassy in Pakistan
Totally 40 players were all Pakistani employees, and classified in groups according to the type of work professions, into carpenter group, steel reinforcement group and bricklayer group, contents for skill competition were column formwork installation and reinforcement steel binding for independent foundation pile caps and concrete solid brick masonry, and the judging panel was made up of management personnel both from China and Pakistan and after fierce skill contests , the first, second and third prizes were awarded to 9 winning groups. The Supervision Engineer of the Employer and Project department leaders have gave the prizes to the winning players and a group photo was taken afterwards.
The labor skill competition activities have witnessed the professional skill levels of the front-line staff of the project on the one hand so as to encourage the staff to continuously improve their work skills and efficiencies and carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship and on the other hand, the level of the project management was improved to further create a strong atmosphere of striving for excellence, dignity of labor and accumulate experiences for localized administration of the project.
