A few days back, a container cargo truck loaded with red wine imported from Algeria arrived in Hefei, the capital city of eastern China’s Anhui province, marking the resumption of the wine import business which had been suspended due to COVID-19. This shipment of wine involved 3 categories, a total of 1,932 cases, said the manager in charge of ACEG’s import and export businesses.
In order to get the shipment delivered at an early date, ACEG import and export business department has actively cooperated with the wine factory in Algeria and Chinese customs, port authorities, and made a transport plan in advance according to the epidemic prevention regulations and related quality testing, inspection and customs clearance requirements and ensured the timely delivery of the shipment amid the strict epidemic prevention and control measures.
Next, ACEG Import and Export Business Department will try to further unblock the channels and expand the types of imported wine according to the feedbacks for the domestic consumers, so as to meet the multi-level and multi-type consumption demands.
On March 19, all the imported red wine from Algeria was disinfected in accordance with the epidemic prevention regulations. On March 20, a negative nucleic acid test report for the wine bottles was obtained from the competent department, which has proved the safety of the imported shipment.
